American Christians and the Sovereign Lord of History

Earl will be speaking on January 28th at University Presbyterian Church, in the midst of a series that considers the nature of patriotism and American Exceptionalism in terms of modern events and the Bible. Earl will be interviewed by David Brenner, on the topic of American Christians and the Sovereign Lord of History.

Word and Worship consists of a talented group of musicians leading worship as well as teaching from Earl Palmer. It provides a space for worship and personal reflection through music, prayer and exposition of texts from the Bible. The theme for this year is St. Paul, Three Life Changing Markers in His Life According to the Books of Acts. This session will be on Acts 22. It is at Henry Memorial Chapel in the Highlands, Shoreline, Washington.

New College Berkley: The Gospel of John

Location: First Presbyterian Church of Berkley

New College Berkley will host a seminar in which Earl will teach on the theme of A Day with the Beloved Gospel: Three Studies in the book by the Youngest Disciple, John. He will cover John 1 and 2, John 7 and 8, and John 19 and 20.

Laity Lodge Retreat

Earl will be teaching at Laity Lodge in Kerrville, Texas on June 14–17, 2018. The theme will be Jesus’ Life Changing Sermon on the Mount: Three Reflections for our Time and Space.

C.S. Lewis Study Week in Oxford, England: Session 1

Location: The Kilns

Earl will be a C.S. Lewis Scholar in Residence at The Kilns, home of C.S. Lewis, for two separate week-long sessions that have the same content. The first session is from July 14-20, 2018. The theme will be C.S. Lewis: His Life, Faith, Friends and Stories of the Marvelous. There is only room for 12 participants per session so sign up quickly. Cost is $2345, and the registration list with additional details is here.
