About Us

The goal of EPM is to encourage pastors and laity in both discipleship and service as followers of Jesus Christ in today’s world. Our monthly programs hope to fulfill this mission.

On the first Monday of each month between October and April, Earl Palmer Ministries partners with The Kindlings Muse for a live discussion between Reverend Palmer and Dick Staub on a topic or book that, in Earl’s words, “every thoughtful Christian ought to read.” This dialogue enables us to focus on concrete theological and life questions in an atmosphere of thoughtful presentation and dialogue. Each event takes place at the Burke Museum Café on the University of Washington campus. Please visit: the-kindlings-muse-earl-palmer-ministries for more information on the next event and registration. Each Kindlings Muse is free and open to the public for the first 50 people registered.

Then the next day, on the first Tuesday of each month, Reverend Palmer holds a monthly Theological Dialogue in Seattle, for various pastors and laity that are interested in theology. The book currently being studied and will continue to be looked at in 2010-2011 is Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis.

Reverend Palmer is also a featured speaker at various seminaries, universities, and churches around the country and world where he is invited. A list of various locations that he has recently spoken at is available on the resources section.

Currently Reverend Palmer has assumed the role of Preaching Pastor-in-Residence at The National Presbyterian Church in Washington DC. This post is scheduled through June 27, 2010.
